#ToySpotting Thursday - 6/30/2016

Starting today, every Thursday we will bring posts about #ToySpotting which will feature photos and reports of cool finds related to toys. Presented today are variant and chase versions of figures of WWE Superstars Zack Ryder, Neville, and Triple H. Also included is finding WWE Battle Packs Series 40 at Walmart. Now on clearance at Target is the WWE Deluxe Create-A-Superstar Packs. Next, is a Hot Wheels dump bin found at my local Walmart which is filled with damaged cars from multiple exclusive Walmart series and previous mainline cases. Finally, found at Dollar Tree is a Hot Wheels 69 Ford Torino Talladega with a smeared paint scheme.

New Hot Wheels Street Beasts 5-Pack

Just found at Toys R Us is a new Hot Wheels 5-pack for 2016. This is the Street Beasts five pack. This pack includes Buzz Bomb, Draggin' Tail, Piranha Terror, Turbo Turret, and Diesel Duty.

Hot Wheels Wednesday - Then & Now Series

Starting today, every Wednesday we will bring posts about Hot Wheels models and their previous paint schemes. The models being presented today are the 2016 mainline Then & Now series. This is just one series of the 32 different series for the 2016 mainline. This a set of five different models of cars where Hot Wheels puts similar paint schemes on an older version and newer version of each model.

Hot Wheels Card Art Error

Hot Wheels has made an error with the new card art for the 2010 Ford Mustang GT. The Mustang is from the 2016 mainline Mild to Wild Set. The car art posted on hotwheels.com represents a different 2010 Mustang GT. The clip art found on the website shows a more wild version of the Mustang. The art found on the blister in stores shows the correct Mustang. Below those pictures are the correct card art for the 2013 Ford Mustang GT.

Matchbox Shark Week Cars

Just released are the new Shark Week cars from Matchbox. This set includes ten models but it seems that there will be two different sets. This first set includes five models Res-Q Waver, Deep Diver, Chevy Corvette ZR1, Toyota Tacoma, and International Scout 4X4. These cars were found at Toys R Us at a price of $1.49 each. The second set will include the other paint scheme for Res-Q Waver, Chevy Van, Checker Cab, Volkswagen Type 181, and Baja Bandit.

Matchbox Monday - Bay Brigade

Starting today, every Monday we will bring posts about Matchbox models and their previous paint schemes. The model being presented today is Bay Brigade. This was a new model for the 2015 mainline with the Fire Department paint scheme. Then to follow up in 2016 Bay Brigade was presented in the Police paint scheme.
